Little Miss Hypothesis
I chose to check out Little Miss Hypothesis’ blog because she is an elementary science teacher! Specifically, a Kindergarten science teacher. When you first go to her blog it’s adorable! I love the home page! It’s very inviting and you can tell that the teacher behind it has put in a lot of work.

Down the left side of the page is where you find a ton of links and most of the information on the blog. There is a link to Little Miss Kindergarten’s Teachers Pay Teachers store, her Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. In Little Miss Kindergarten’s social media accounts you can learn that she is from Texas. She also has sponsors and events listed on the left side bar. Probably my favorite is the class pets! I would love to someday have a class pet in my room so I enjoy seeing teachers with the pets in their rooms.

A lot of Little Miss Kindergarten’s posts are listed chronologically on her home page. The first post that pops up talks about teaching kindergartners to describe properties of objects. At the bottom There was a suggested post section. The title “Why I Love Rocks” caught my attention so I clicked on it. In the post Little Miss Kindergarten talks about children’s love for rocks. She also includes several books to read out loud to the class and some worksheets and links. She also included some photos of her students participating in her lesson.
Back on the home page I found a post about Sunflowers. Being from Kansas I was most definitely interested in that. In her post the teacher discusses how she used sunflowers in her class, different books, and plans for a field trip. All to teach about the parts of a plant.
Overall the blog was adorable. I especially liked the graphics. I appreciated the shorter posts with lots of pictures and suggestions to add books to the lessons. I was sad to not learn too much about the teacher herself. I definitely will be following her on Pinterest and Facebook!
